Our First Overnight Adventure with the Kids

We took the dogs for their first overnight on Monday at Fort Yargo State Park. Put the Motorhome through a test of all systems and everything checked out great. The dogs adjusted well and really seemed to enjoy the outing. The only problems were John's soft boiled eggs were overcooked....guess I need to make adjustments to cooking on a gas stove, and Scruffy fell in the lake ~ LOL! Scruffy was being nosy, got too close to the edge and slipped in, he only got his feet wet but it was funny.

The rest of the week is trying to get the house cleared out to be ready to leave on Monday. We've been busier this week than if we were working...doctor's appointments, packing, donation pick up's, etc.....we're gonna be exhausted by the time we leave. We still haven't completely decided our route to Sedalia, MO but we have 4 days to get there so there's no rush.

Off to pack some more.......
