We drove down to Yuma on Saturday and met up with Jim & Sandie (Escapees Friends) at the Cocopah Casino. They have RV parking (boondocking) $5 for 3 nights. We got settled then went out for Mexican with them & Jeri and Terry, New Escapees Friends.
There's 50 spaces in this lot but plenty of parking for overflow RV's in another lot. That’s us, fourth from the end.
Lots of desert to explore for the dogs, but Scruffy would rather lay in the street.
The RV parking lot is nice and it's just a short walk over to the casino, or the shuttle will give you a ride. We went over for the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. They have the strangest birds living in the grass by the casino. They poke their beaks down into the ground and get bugs or something.
Sunday evening we grilled out and had dinner with Jim & Sandie. It was wonderful to see them again.
Today we drove around a little and explored. Found the Head with sunglasses ~ LOL! This is just one of the strange things found on the
website that Sandie told us about.
Tomorrow we're going to move over to the Escapees park in town. They don't have any spots available, as of today, but dry camping is $5 a night and we can do laundry and be on the waiting list for a site.

Glad you found the head. There's also a bridge to nowhere. And don't forget the Center of the World. Thanks again for dinner. It was fabulous.
