End of Our Winter Job & Moving for the Summer

We finished our job in SW Texas on March 16th.  We had a great winter working as Gate Guards on an oil well site, but we're looking forward to being back in civilization for the summer.

We spent a couple days at Escapees Headquarters in Livingston, TX, then visited my best friend, Connie in Mississippi.  We stayed at Timberlake campground on the Ross Barnett Reservoir...Had a great visit!

We drove on to Georgia and arrived at my parents on Saturday.  Justin, Trish & her BF were there to meet us & Justin spent the night with us.  We all got together for breakfast on Sunday...it was great to have the family all together again.  Sadly, I never thought to take pictures while we were together, I'll get some this weekend.

We have 19 days in Georgia...lots of friends to visit and things to get taken care of before we head to Maine for the summer.  Made an appointment to take the motorhome in for oil change and a couple repairs. We tried to get in as many visits with friends as we could while we were in Georgia...

Got together with Joe & Arlene for dinner at their place.  It was so much fun to see each other and share a great meal and a few drinks.  Missed having Pam & Steve with us, but hopefully we can all get together next time.

Then we met Bonnie for lunch.

 Trish is doing well and seems very happy with her new boyfriend.  Brian has a tattoo shop in Loganville, so unfortunately Trish gets free tattoos.  :(  

They seem to be good for each other and the house looks like it's being taken better care of, so we think we let him stay ~ LOL!

Mom & Bill are doing well...a few challenges health-wise but they're active in church and getting along OK.

It's been a great visit, but we're about ready to get back on the road.  We'll be leaving here on Thursday, April 12th and heading to NC to visit some friends, then on to Bar Harbor, Maine for the summer.
