Maine

We left Hanscom AFB MA on April 26th and drove to South Bristol, Maine.  We parked at Evelyn’s house for a couple nights.  We’ve been “Internet Friends” with her for several years, but had never met in person.  She offered us a place to park for a couple days, so we took her up on it.  It’s a beautiful area, but it’s still cold & windy here.

We had a great visit and hope to visit again while we’re here this summer.  On Sat we drove to our summer job at the KOA campground on Bar Harbor.  The bay is just across the campground from us. 

This is the view out our front window…of course, once the campers start arriving we won’t have that view.

We have some privacy because we’re on the end of a section and there’s a wooded area behind us.

The dogs seem to like the new area too.

So we’re settling in and we start work on tomorrow.  The campground manager seems nice, and so do the other couples that are here.  There are still several other couples due to arrive between now and the end of May.  We’re looking forward to a fun summer…hoping it warms up soon.
