Beautiful Utah Canyons

We stayed at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas for 5 days.  We just need some time to rest and relax, before we continued on with our trip.

On May 26th we drove to Cedar City, Utah and parked at the KOA campground there.  If you’re going to visit Bryce Canyon National Park, I highly recommend staying in Cedar City.  It’s a beautiful small town, very welcoming without being touristy.  They have a wonderful French Bakery where we picked up some bread and a couple mini-cheesecakes, a really good Japanese restaurant, and Antonio’s which claims the have the best breakfast burritos in the world and they were pretty amazing for only $3.99 each!

On May 27th, we packed up the dogs & drove to Bryce Canyon National Park.  Here’s just a few of the incredible views…

On the 28th, we drove over to Maob, UT.  Moab is very much a tourist town which revolves around mountain sports.  The main drag is wall to wall tour companies offering ATV rental, Rafting trips, Mountain climbing, Bicycle tours, etc.   We stayed at the OK RV Park on the southside of town

The next day we drove to Arches National Park & Canyonlands National Park.  Neither of these parks allow dogs on the trails, so we mostly just drove the main routes through the parks and stopped at the overlooks.

I did climb up here.. 004

On June 1st we drove to Albuquerque, NM and parked at Kirtland AFB RV Park.  We plan to stay here until June 4th, then head back to Texas.  It’s been a fun month, but it’s almost time to go back to work.
