Back Home To Georgia!

So, we left Wisconsin….thrilled that we have a job for next summer, at a great park, with friends we’ve worked with before.

We drove down to Memphis and spent 2 nights at a Naval Air Station RV Park.  Met up with Francis & JoAnn for lunch on Saturday…It was Wonderful to see them again!  Francis looks better than ever since his heart surgery & installation of the little pacemaker.  Joann is doing great getting used to her new knee and should be dancing in no time.  They’ve been given the “All Clear” from doctors and will be heading out West this week.

Then we drove down to Madison, Ms for a quick visit with Connie.  We hadn’t met her new baby Fiona yet, so we were looking forward to that.  Fiona, an Irish Setter,  is now 10 months old and about 55 pounds…she’s all Legs ~ LOL!  Phoebe tried to make friends….but she’s scared of big dogs and that equated to aggressiveness.  Fiona took Phoebe on a chase around the yard before she gave out…Phoebe hasn’t run that much in years & Fiona was just getting warmed up ~ LOL!100_3978

We made it home to Loganville Monday night and it’s great to be back.  We’re enjoying time with Trish, Brett & Justin and getting some overdue doctor appointments taken care of.

Phoebe enjoys playing with Clover…when she can get him out of the bed.  Trish & Brett have 4 cats too, but Phoebe just can’t figure them out.

100_3994 2We took her over to Mom & Bill’s and she got to play with Sophie & Gracie too.  It was great for her to have a big yard to play in….Small dogs are so much more fun according to Phoebe.

Looking forward to spending time with family and friends while we’re here.   We’ll leave around Nov 5th, & we’ll be going to Kentucky to work for a couple months.

Glad you're back safe and sound and can now relax for a little while before you start work again. Great news about the job for next summer. Are you going to make it to AZ this winter?
