Beautiful Highway 12 ~ Part 1

Traveling to the KOA (where we are working) you turn off Highway 89 and travel 26 miles down Highway 12 to the park.  This is what we drive through just about anytime we go somewhere.

Pictures don't begin to capture the magnificence of the landscape here, but this will give you an idea.

The entrance to Red Canyon

There's a parking area, just before the town of Tropic, where you can walk about 1/2 mile back to a small waterfall

 And then you arrive at the KOA.

 

We're parked up on the hill, so we have a great view.

 

 

So, this is our home for the next few months.
