Riding the Trails

We spent Saturday riding ATV's through the trails. We rode up to Copper Harbor and Keweenaw Point. This is Manganese Falls

and Bud, Our Host and Guide

We rode probably 3 hours through the woods....and some very big mud puddles!

This is the sign that posts the official snow fall amounts for each year

After we got back Bud drove us over to his friend's house where we were presented with the newest member of our family. This little guy was carved that morning with a chain saw, out of a cedar log so he even smells good! He'll be our sign holder to set outside the RV when we set up in a campground.

Today we toured Quincy Mine, including a trip down 7 stories into the mine. We plan to head out tomorrow as long as our mail package arrives.

Great name holder for you guys. Looks like you are really enjoying the UP. I need to get a lesson from you on Blog posting. You do alot of pictures with just the right amount of documentation. Keep it up. I know about mail and tentative leave days. We had to stay here a few extra days to get our VuQube ups to us. What fun

We still don't have TV service, are you using Dish or Direct TV? How do you like the VuQube?
