Miles & Miles of Texas

Have you ever driven across West Texas?????  It’s over 500 miles from San Antonio to the New Mexico border on I-10……miles & miles of nothing ~ LOL!

I even drove for a couple hours the last two days…I’ve gotten pretty lazy about driving, it’s just easier to let John do it all ~ LOL!

We made it to New Mexico today.  We plan to stop at the RV Resort where we’ll be working tomorrow, maybe spend the night and check things out since we’re passing right by it.  We don’t have to report for work until Oct 12th so we’ve still got some play time.  :)

Our biggest problem lately is the dogs get burrs in their feet almost every trip out to potty.  You can’t see them in the sand & gravel but they’re everywhere out here.  We’re going to check around and try to find some boots for them tomorrow….back to the dog boot search but this time we need thick soled boots not just mud boots.
