Today we pulled into the FAMCAMP at Ellsworth Air Force Base, just north of Rapid City, South Dakota. We’ve paid for 2 nights but may stay 3….we’re really tired of driving/riding after 7 days of it. It took us two days to get out of Montana and it was a very boring drive.
We did get a picture of one Moose before we left Canada
Moose are shy and don’t like to be photographed…he ran into the woods before we got close enough for a good picture.
Anyway, we’re settled in at the Air Force Base for a couple days, doing laundry tonight. Had dinner at the Chow Hall, and it cost us a total of $5.85 for 2 dinners. We’ll probably drive down and check out Mt Rushmore and some of the other area attractions before we leave.

You must have been driving along the Highline in Montana. Not a whole lot along there except for cattle and fields. Not even trees to break up the scenery. Slow down and relax a little bit.
We did finally slow down Sandie. :)
We may even stay over another day @ Ellsworth. Your pictures of Pennsylvania are beautiful!
