Arkansas

We got to Maumelle Park on Sunday, 9/11.  Got a spot right next to Francis & JoAnn.
Maumelle is a really nice, Army Corps of Engineers Park, on the Arkansas River.  We had wonderful visit and got some things taken care of.  John had cracked a tooth, so we were able to get in to a dentist and get it fixed.
We had to say goodbye on Tuesday...Francis has doctor appointments and we needed to head on to Texas.  Always a wonderful thing when we can meet up with friends along the way.

We drove on into Texas and stopped for the night in Sulphur Springs.  Tracy came out to meet us and we had dinner and visited in the Walmart parking lot.  It's really too hot be boondocking...woke up at 2:30 am and had to fire up the generator to get the place cooled down.

Today we're driving over to McKinney, TX to have a quick visit with Diane, who I haven't seen in 5 years.  Then we'll head on down to an RV park just south of Ft Worth.

You had to get up to turn the air on and we had to get up to turn the heat on. Strange weather. Only in the low 60's here today. But back into the 70's tomorrow.
